Current president of the Dalcroze Society of America, William Bauer gives workshops in eurhythmics and improvisation. He has served on the Summer Dalcroze Institute faculties of Carnegie-Mellon University and The Longy School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Dr. Bauer teaches music at the City University of New York’s College of Staten Island. He holds advanced degrees in composition from Columbia University and from the CUNY Graduate Center. He also holds the Dalcroze certificate and license, earned in studies with Robert Abramson and Dr. Ruth Alperson at the Manhattan Dalcroze Institute. In his eurhythmics training he received mentoring from Lisa Parker, Anne Farber and Annabelle Joseph.

Michael Joviala is an pianist, clarinetist, composer and teacher in New York City. Training: BA in Jazz Performance, University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA. Faculty: Lucy Moses School, Bloomingdale School of Music, American Musical and Dramatic Academy. Dalcroze Certificate: Julliard School of Music. Dalcroze License: Longy School of Music in Boston. President, TriState chapter of the Dalcroze Society of America. He currently leads the group Primitivo, a trio specializing in the music of early modern composers played in the spirit of bal-musette dancehall music of turn of the century Paris. He is an MA student at Teachers College, Columbia University.
